The Giving Tree – Mariposa County Friends of the Library

Located in the Mariposa County Public Library, the Giving Tree is a beautifully painted tree created by local artist Abby Miller. This special installation offers a meaningful way to honor loved ones while supporting the library and our community.

Individuals may dedicate a metal acorn or oak leaf plaque in recognition of someone special. Each plaque is permanently displayed on the Giving Tree, creating a lasting tribute that grows alongside our shared love of learning and connection.

Metal Oak Leaf Plaque: $150

How to Purchase?

If you would like to contribute to the tree, please ask at Books Galore (during business hours Monday and Friday) or the Circulation Desk at the Mariposa County Library for a form to complete the process. Donations made to purchase the leaves and acorns directly support library programming and materials.
